Helv City Museum was awarded the "Jiangsu Provincial Public Institution Energy Conservation Demonstration Unit".

Recently, it was learned from the Jiangsu Provincial Organs Affairs Administration Bureau that the Wuxi Wudu Helv City Museum has been awarded the honorary title of "2020 Jiangsu Provincial Public Institution Energy Conservation Demonstration Unit". On January 26, 2021, Wu Yunchao, Deputy Director of the Wuxi Municipal Organs Affairs Administration Bureau, went to the Helv City Museum to present the provincial-level energy conservation demonstration unit award plaque. In recent years, the museum has done a lot of work in energy conservation and emission reduction, always centering around themes such as "Green Water and Green Mountains, Energy Efficiency Improvement" and "Green Low Carbon, Comprehensive Well-off Society".

 

I. Based on the actual situation, consolidate the foundation of energy conservation work. The museum has always attached great importance to a series of energy conservation, emission reduction, and low-carbon development works. It has successively organized the engineering department, operation department, security department, and office, etc., to start from their respective work realities, focusing on saving water, electricity, oil, and office supplies. Special personnel were assigned to study and formulate systems and specific measures for low-carbon energy conservation, and these measures were implemented item by item in the work.

 

II. Strengthen publicity and implement energy conservation management methods. The museum specially produced energy conservation and environmental protection propaganda display boards placed in the museum's entrance hall, and played energy conservation public service videos on the announcement screen, distributing energy conservation publicity materials to the public. Through forms such as posting small signs in conspicuous places on various electrical appliances, the museum reminds people to turn off lights and power supplies promptly.

 

III. Standardize operations and promote energy conservation work collaboratively. Party members and cadres of the museum actively implemented low-carbon and green travel, took the lead in advocating thrift and saving, implementing the new fashion of garbage classification, promptly replacing garbage classification bins, and guiding tourists in garbage classification. Engineering personnel replaced the original lighting fixtures with LED energy-saving lighting fixtures, added electricity and water metering equipment, and conducted real-time monitoring of electricity and water consumption. Through the collaborative efforts of various departments, the museum has efficiently achieved the goal of energy conservation while ensuring a good venue environment.

 

In the next stage, the Wuxi Wudu Helv City Museum will continue to combine its own platform advantages, widely promote energy conservation and emission reduction, demonstrate and guide more members of the public to participate in and promote a green lifestyle, further advocate a social ethos of thrift and saving, and share a new green and healthy life.
