Introduction of Helv City Relics Park
Helucheng Archaeological Site Park is located in Mashan, the western suburb of Wuxi City. It is affiliated to Wuxi Taihu Lake National Tourism Resort. It has a total planning area of 12 square kilometers and a total investment of 1.95 billion yuan. It is a major cultural project in Wuxi City and a cultural tourism project created by Wuxi City in recent years. The new highlight will become the center of Wuxi Wu culture exhibition, research, experience and inheritance.
The Helu City Site is one of the top ten new archaeological discoveries in the country in 2008. In 2013, it was announced as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council. The Helu City Site Park was included in the second batch of national archaeological site parks. The main projects include: Helu City Ruins Museum, Ancient City Ruins Restoration Exhibition Area, Longshan Stone City Wall, Stone Mound Restoration Exhibition Area, etc.
At present, the Helu City Ruins Museum covers an area of 150 acres and has a total area of 27000 square meters. It was officially opened on February 24, 2014; the exhibition area of the main building has 6 exhibition spaces, namely: Multimedia Interactive Experience Hall, Wude Ancient Exploration Hall, Shuhuo Biography Hall, Helu Xiongfeng Hall and Wufeng Ancient Rhyme Hall; the annex is a tourist service center, providing catering, accommodation, conferences and other supporting services. The exhibition and restoration project of the ancient city site was completed in June 2019, and the restoration and display project of Longshan stone city wall and stone mound is progressing steadily. Helu City Archaeological Site Park will be built into a national archaeological site park integrating site display, archaeological research, cultural entertainment and historical inheritance.

2016
In June 2016, Helv Relics Museum was assessed and evaluated by Jiangsu Committee of Tourism Resources Planning and Development Quality Assessment. In June 21, it was approved as a national AAAA-level scenic spot.

2015
In July 2015, Helv City Movie and Television Culture Industrial Park was rated as Jiangsu Cultural Industry Demonstration Park.

2013
In 2013, it was selected as one of the 150 national key relics during the “12th Five-year Plan” period. In the same year, it was also included in the list of national archaeological parks that got the approval.

2013
In 2013, it was declared by the State Council as the Key Historical Site Under State Protection.

2011
In 2011, it was selected as Jiangsu’s first batch of great ruins.

2008
In 2008, it was selected as one of the “Top Ten National New Archaeological Discoveries”.
