Having survived for thousands of years, although the Gou Wu Kingdom, which dominated the historical stage for hundreds of years, has long been swallowed by the river of time, its pioneering and entrepreneurial culture has left a deep mark on history and continues to this day. Although the magnificent palaces of the Wu Kings have long since vanished with time, many ancient ruins have been fortunately preserved by layers of soil. Today, the Wu culture, inherited from the ancient Gou Wu Kingdom, has become even more profound after the tempering of time. It has long been integrated into every aspect of life in Wu, influencing generation after generation of people who grew up there. As a witness to the development of Wu culture, the ancient city of Helv has recently been unearthed and presented to the world. With the gradual progress of the Helv Ancient City Ruins Park project, Wu culture and Helv Ancient City have been organically combined once again, vividly recreating the glorious past of the Spring and Autumn Wu Kingdom for the public and interpreting the spirit of Wu culture of "upholding virtue, valuing literature, pursuing practicality, and fostering innovation."
The Helv Ancient City Ruins Park is centered on the Helv Ancient City ruins, one of the top 10 archaeological discoveries in China in 2008. Relying on platforms such as the Helv Ancient City Museum and the Spring and Autumn Wu King City, it vividly tells stories of the Spring and Autumn Wu region and recreates the grand scenes of the ancient kingdom. As the first project launched in the Helv City Ruins Park, the Helv City Ruins Museum, in its recent operations, has adopted a new approach to presenting the original historical appearance more vividly and intuitively. Allowing visitors to experience history firsthand, it breaks away from the traditional monotonous narrative style of museums that focuses primarily on artifacts. By utilizing the latest scientific and technological achievements, diverse exhibition methods, and distinctive experiential activities, it presents familiar local stories in unique ways, providing the public with a more vivid understanding of history and a deeper appreciation of Wu culture.
